Fitted to the stairs
Outdoor stairlift rails can be fitted to a full set of straight and curved stairs or even to a few steps leading down to your garden. The rail is always fitted to the step, not the wall.
Designed for the outdoors
Outdoor stairlifts are built to work all weather and can come with a protective cover keeping it clean and dry when not in use.
Convenience and safety
Controls can be mounted on either side of the armrest, and an optional key switch can be installed to ensure complete power isolation when not in use. Safety edges as standard ensure the stairlift will automatically detect any obstruction bringing it to a safe and gentle stop.
Getting on and off
When you’re at the top of the stairs it’s important to be able to get on and off the chair safely. The swivel seat turns the user to face the landing for easy access allowing you to get off the chair as safely as possible.
Self-charging battery
A self-charging battery means the outdoor stairlift will continue its journey even in the event of a powercut. Optional key switch can be installed to ensure complete power isolation when not in use.
Optional call station
Multiple users? Choose an optional call station to enable you to call the stairlift for yourself, or send it up/down to someone else.

✓The installation address is more than 5 miles from the coast?Unfortunately we can't fit an outdoor stairlift close to the coast due to sea air.

✓The user does not rely on a wheelchair?Unfortunately a stairlift is not the right aid for a wheelchair user, however contact us to discuss a level access platform lift.

✓You've never been advised that a stairlift is unsuitable for you or your staircase?If you have already had a stairlift company survey your external steps and they've concluded that a stairlift cannot be fitted then it's unlikely one can.
